Corrections Policy

We will get things wrong. This is what happens when we do.

How we correct

  1. Material errors of fact are corrected in the article, with a dated correction note appended. We do not silently edit a published figure.
  2. Where a correction changes the conclusion, we say so explicitly at the top of the piece rather than burying it at the bottom.
  3. Typographical fixes that do not change meaning are made without a note.
  4. Where a project review's terms have changed since publication, the review is re-dated and the change recorded — not overwritten.

Requesting a correction

Write to editorial@example.com with the article, the specific claim and the evidence. Evidence means a primary document or a named source. A developer's assertion that our analysis is unfair is not, by itself, a correction request.
