Frasers Hospitality to Open 18 Asia Properties by 2028, Two of Them in Malaysia

Based on reporting byFrasers Hospitality (via Hospitality Net)(original report, opens in a new tab)

Frasers Hospitality plans to open 18 new serviced and hotel residences across Asia by 2028, spanning Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and Japan, its CEO says — prioritising markets where longer-stay demand is 'strengthening structurally.' Two are in Malaysia: Capri by Fraser Penang (248 rooms, opening Q2 2026) and Fraser Residence Putrajaya (283 serviced apartments). For a market whose case rests on managed, longer-stay demand, this is a direct vote of confidence.
